Three Layer Bars Recipe

1st Layer
1/2 c margarine
1/4 c sugar
1/3 c cocoa
1 t vanilla
1 egg
2 c graham cracker crumbs
1 c coconut
1/2 c nuts

2nd Layer
1/2 c margarine
3 T milk
1 pkg Instant pudding mix, any flavor(3 3/4 oz size)
2 cups powdered sugar
1 t vanilla

3rd Layer
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 T margarine

Directions:
Part I. Put these ingredients in top of double broiler. when well blended, add 1 slightly beaten egg and cook 5 minutes. Stirring constantly.

Add graham cracker crumbs, coconut & nuts. Press into 9 x 13 pan. Let cool.

Part II. Cream 1/2 cup margarine until fluffy. Stir 3 Tablespoons milk into any flavor instant pudding mix. Add to the margarine. Gradually stir in powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat until smooth. Spread over 1st layer and let stand until firm.

Part III. Melt 1/2 c chocolate chips with 1 1/2 T margarine. Spread over the pudding layer. Keep in cool place.
