Ingredients: 1 1-2 lbs hamburger
1egg, slightly beaten
1C bread crumbs or oatmeal
2/3 C milk
1 small onion chopped fine
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce or so...
1tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 C catsup

Directions:Remember I don't measure very much since I've made this so often.
Mix everything together. Little kids love to get their hands in there and help.
Use a microwave safe bowl with a tall glass in the center to make a hole. Or use a baking ring. I also put catsup on the top. Bake on Medium for @ 27 minutes. Uncovered if you want a crusty top. Check for doneness. Let stand for 5 minutes.
There are options like putting half the mix in the pan then layering Cooked brocolli or mushrooms and a cup of grated cheddar cheese before covering with the rest of the meat.
Internal temp should be @150-155º. |

Notes: This recipe can be used in a regular oven, too. I use more Worcestershire sauce and add parsley or basil, whatever I feel like. Can use half ground turkey.
