Orange Almond Salad (Amazing) Recipe

Ingredients: 1/2 C, Sliced Almonds 3 Tbsp. Sugar Romaine Lettuce 5-6 Green Onions- Sliced 1 Lg. Can Mandarin Oranges
Dressing: 1/2 C. Canola Oil 4 tbsp. White Wine Vinegar 1 tsp. Salt 4 Tbsp. Sugar 2 tsp. Dried Parsley or fresh Pepper

Directions:Sugar Coated Almonds: Heat sugar and almonds in a skillet (non-stick) until sugar melts and coats almonds. Once the sugar melts this will happen very fast...the almonds will coat and turn a light brown. Immediately remove from skillet to cool onto parchment paper. (if you leave in skillet too long...they will burn and not be good.
Salad: Alternate romaine, green onions and oranges.
Dressing: Mix all dressing ingredients.
Important note: Keep almonds and dressing separate until just before serving. Mix and toss.

Notes: This is my go to salad for everything. You can make a meal by adding chicken. Everyone loves this salad. Recipe given to me by Andrea Blader. This is one of my favorite recipes. I add extra almonds sugar coated almonds when I make this...increase to 1 cup and 6Tbsp. plus of sugar.
