Apple mixture:
2 to 3 pounds thinly sliced apples
2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 pound vanilla wafers, ground
2 sticks melted butter

Dough:
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 small egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup Wesson oil
2/3 cup very warm water

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl, beat well one small egg, salt and oil. Now add 2/3 cup very warm water, and continue beating until frothy. Gradually add flour, beating with mixer until little bubbles form. Place on floured bread board and knead, adding more flour until dough is firm. Place in large flat pan; cover with waxed papaer and set in warm place one hour. Roll on floured cloth; then stretch with hands until paper thin. Brush dough with melted butter. Sprinkle with wafer crumbs. Spread apples and sugar mixed with cinnamon. Roll up as for jelly roll. Place in greased pan. Bake in preheated 375º oven for one hour.
