1 small cabbage, shredded
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
Buttered bread crumbs




Directions:
Directions:
Cover and cook cabbage in small amount of water for 3 minutes and drain.
Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour; gradually add milk and salt. Cook and stir until thickened.
Place half of sauce in 1 1/2 qt. casserole; place the cabbage over sauce; cover cabbage with remaining sauce.
Top with buttered bread crumbs.
Bake at 350º for 20 min., or until bubbly.
