1/2 c. butter (softened to room temp.)
1 c. brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas(very ripe is best)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and beat well.
Combine the dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture alternately with the mashed bananas. Fold in the nuts last.
Pour into a buttered loaf pan, let stand at room temperature for 20 minutes, and then bake at 350º about 45- 60 minutes.

I almost always bake in three small loaf pans. Great as gifts, or easy to freeze. Best served warm with a little butter.
