1-(7 oz.)- Package of Caramels
1/4 C - Evaporated Milk
1 C - Chopped Pecans ( divided into 2- 1/2each)
1 ( 9 " ) chocolate crumb piecrust
1 (8 oz.) package of creamed cheese (softened)
1 1/4 c milk
1-large package of chocolate (instant pudding mix)
1/2 c fudge topping or (chocolate chips and 1 tsp milk) melted

1. Place caramels and evaporated milk in heavy sauce pan. Heat over low heat, stirring continually until smooth. (about 5 minutes) Stir in 1/2 C chopped pecans. Pour into piecrust. 2. Combine cream cheese and milk into blender. Process until smooth. Add pudding mix (dry) ; process for about 30 seconds longer until blended.3. Pour pudding mixture over caramel layer. Spread evenly. Chill loosely covered until set. (about 15 minutes). 4. Drizzle Fudge topping (melted Chocolate chips) over pudding layer in a decorative fashion. 5. Sprinkle second half of nuts. 6. Chill loosely covered until serving time.

Note:
1. If you warm pecans in microwave for 2 minutes they chop up easily.
2. Quick way to drizzle topping. Put topping in small plastic bag. Cut off one corner at an angle on the bottom of the bag. Squeeze gently and decorate pie.
