Texas Pecan Pie Recipe

1 1/2 c. pecans
3 eggs
1 T. butter, melted
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 T. flour
1 9" unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange pecan halves in the bottom of the pie shell. (Since pecan pie is a rather heavy pie, make a thicker than normal pie shell.)
Combine eggs, butter, corn syrup, and vanilla, stirring until well blended.
Combine sugar and flour and add to egg mixture. Pour over pecans in pastry shell. Let stand until pecans rise to the surface.
Bake in moderate oven (350º) for 45 minutes.
