1 candy thermometer
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/4 c. water
1/3 C. light corn syrup

walnuts (chopped)
chocolate chips

13 X 9 pan ready. line with foil
In a heavy saucepan melt butter, sugar, water and cook until the candy thermometer rises to the temperature reaches 285º. Quickly, pour the candy onto the 13 X 9 pan and spread to the corners of the pan. Drop the chocolate bits over the hot candy wait a few minutes and spread over the entire candy then shake the nuts over the top. Let cool (I put it outside if the weather permits or put in the refrigerator. When the mixture hardens
flip the pan over and tap. Break into pieces and enjoy!


Can be stored up to 2 weeks ahead in air tight container
