8 lb. russet potatoes (peeled)
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Crisco (I use the Crisco sticks)

Directions:
In a large bowl peel and grate potatoes (use a blender or a hand grater)
in a small bowl mix egg and milk together add to potato mixture flour and salt and pepper,

Fry pan or griddle wipe the pan with crisco and heat up. When the pan is hot enough start by putting about a cup of mixture into the pan and with the back of a large spoon smooth and spread thin.

Let cook until the pancake can be lifted up easily and flip over cook on the other side.

Heat oven at 180º put first pancake in oven continue to fry all the mixture.

Serve with steak and gravy. Cook steak take out and add a tbl of butter to each portion on steak. In the meantime, add 1/2 c. butter to frypan that you cooked the steak in and all water, salt and pepper. Do not thicken this is the steak gravy

the uncooked potato mixture will start to turn red (don't worry its suppose to)
After the pancakes are cooked they will take on a blueish color.
