1 c. milk
1 egg
3 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
4 tsp. baking powder

One cup-please make to mistake
One cup milk, one egg and then
Sift tree cups flour, and sift again.
One cup chopped nuts before you bake
Four teaspoons baking powder take.
And make them level, for you see
You want just the right quantity.
For twenty minutes let it stand
in any pan you have at hand;
Bake forty minutes; it is said
This will make you a fine nut breads.
