9 slices white bread
6 – 9 slices cooked turkey
6 – 9 slices cooked ham
3 slices American cheese
3 slices Swiss cheese

Vegetable oil- (for deep frying)

Batter
1 egg
1 - 1 1/4 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place 2 slices of turkey and a slice of Swiss cheese on one slice of bread, and 2 slices of ham and a slice of American cheese on another slice of bread.
2. Place a third slice of bread on top.
3. Secure the triple-decker sandwich in the corners with toothpicks.
4. Place egg in mixing bowl, add water and beat together.
5. Add salt, sugar, flour, and baking powder.
6. Beat batter until smooth.
7. Dip sandwich in batter and carefully cover all the sides and surface.
8. Refrigerate individually – do not stack- for 1 – 2 hours.
9. Carefully place in hot oil and fry until golden brown.
10. When sandwich has turned a warm gold, remove from hot oil and place on paper towel.
11. Let cool for a few minutes before removing toothpicks.
12. Serve dusted with powdered sugar and raspberry jam.
