2 c flour
2 sticks butter (salted)
4 T sugar
2 t vanilla
1 c ground pecans
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Combine flour with butter, I like to use a pastry cutter. Add sugar, vanilla and ground pecans. Combine with hands to integrate ingredients and make one big ball.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1/2 hour to and hour.

Pinch off cold dough pieces and shape into balls or cresents.

Bake 20 min at 350 degrees.

Take our of the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar. After they are cool enough to handle roll in more powdered sugar.

This is another refined Marie Molinare recipe. She uses margarine and makes crescent shapes. We use butter and our family prefers the ball shapes - especially Mike and Emma. Emma is usually in charge of making these for Christmas.
