2 1/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
3/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and spices together. Cream sugar and butter. Add liquids then flour. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Shape into 3/4" balls. Roll in sugar. Place 2" apart on baking sheet. Bake at 375º F for 7 - 8 minutes.
