6-oz package chocolate chips
1/2 cup sour cream
dash of salt
2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1/4 cup bourbon or rum
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup chopped pecans
Colored sprinkles or granulated sugar

Melt chocolate chips. Blend with sour cream and salt; set aside. Combine wafer crumbs, melted butter, bourbon/rum, sugar, cocoa and nuts. Blend thoroughly. Form spoonful of crumb mixture into cup shape. Place a small ball of chocolate mixture in center of crumb cup. Gently bring cup over chocolate filling to cover. Roll in colored sprinkles and store in covered container. Flavor improves if balls are allowed to ripen for a few days before serving.
