1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon soda
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup boiling water
1 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cocoa and boiling water; be sure all lumps are blended into water. Set aside. Mix flour, salt, and soda. Set aside. Mix sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Alternate adding flour mixture and buttermilk to the sugar/butter mixture and mix well. Add cocoa/water mixture to rest of mixture; mix well. Bake in 9x13 inch pan for 25 to 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
