1/2 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda
1 c sour cream
1 c peeled chopped apples
1/2 c chopped nuts
1 c brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, vanilla and salt. Beat in eggs. Sift baking powder flour and soda. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Fold in apples.. Pour batter into 9 X 13 pan. Sprinkle evenly with nuts. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over nuts. Bake at 350ºF for 25 to 30 min.
