1/2 cup margarine, melted
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup pecans
2/3 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Mix margarine and butter together, then blend in eggs, vanilla and pecans. Add flour, baking powder and salt, mix well. Put batter into 9" baking pan.
Bake 350ºF for 20 - 22 minutes.

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of bars while still hot then spread chocolate chips for topping.
