1 qt. milk
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a double boiler- heat milk until hot, not boiling. In another bowl beat eggs, add sugar, mix well. Take some hot milk and gradually add to egg mixture until egg mixture is warm (temper the eggs). Add mixture back to hot milk and stir. Cook until thick, no longer than 20 mins. Remove from heat, add vanilla and stir. Best served cold.
