1/4 C Butter or Margarine
1 C Packed Light Brown Sugar
1 Egg
3/4 C Flour
1 t Baking Powder
1/2 t Salt
1/2 t Vanilla
1/2 C Coarsely Chopped Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat, add brown sugar and stir until well blended. Cool. Add egg and mix well. Stir in dry ingredients, then add vanilla & nuts.

Spread in well buttered 8 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees about 25 minutes.

Cool in pan on cake rack. Cut into 2 inch squares.
