1 package German chocolate cake mix
1 stick softened butter
1 1/3 c. water
2/3 c. oil
3 eggs
1 can eagle brand milk (sweetened condensed milk), divided
1 lb Kraft caramels (~45 candies)
1 c. chopped pecans
Hershey's chocolate fudge icing

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325ºF. Mix cake mix, butter, water, oil, eggs, and 1/2 of the sweetened condensed milk to make a batter. Pour half of batter into greased and floured 13X9 pan and bake for 20-25 min. Melt caramels with remaining sweetened condensed milk and chopped pecans. Pour caramel mixture over baked cake, then cover with remaining cake batter. Bake 20-25 min. After cooling, ice with chocolate icing.
