2 pie crusts
2 cans tart pitted cherries (not pie filling)
1/2-2/3 c. sugar
2 1/2 T. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
butter
cinnamon sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425ºF. Strain cherries, reserving juice. Mix cherry juice with sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened and boiling. Add cherries. Pour cherry mixture into pie crust and cover with top crust. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake for 35-45 min.

Ted Burdett has made this his speciality! He actually won baking contests for having the prettiest dessert. Using a homemade crust with a lattice top makes it really special.
