Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. oil
2 sticks butter (room temperature)
1 c. confectioner's sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
6-7 cups flour (approximately) to mold
1/2 c. chopped nuts (for top)
Syrup
2 c. sugar
1 c. honey
1 1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Beat oil and butter to cream. Add confectioner's sugar, beat until blended. Beat in eggs.

Combine dry ingredients, sift, and add alternately to first mixture with the orange-lemon juice. Add enough flour if needed to make a consistency that can be picked up with the fingers without sticking. (soft like putty)

Shape into rounded ovals from a piece the size of a walnut and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes, until lightly browned. Let cool, then dip in syrup for serving.

Syrup:
In a saucepan, combine 2 cups sugar, 1 cup honey, and 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. With a slotted spoon, dip dry cookies in syrup, a few at a time for about 2 minutes. Sprinkle top with a few reserved chopped nuts. Place on waxed paper, then put in muffin cases to serve.
