1 1/2 cups butter or margarine
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
,2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups All Purpose Flour
2 cups Rolled Oat

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter until fluffy. Add brown and white sugars, eggs, milk, baking powder, soda and vanilla. Beat until combined. Beat in as much flour as you can, then stir in the remaining flour and the oats.

Additions:
Stir in a combined total of about 2 cups of the following:
Raisins
Dates
Chocolate covered English Toffee - crumbled
Semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips/pieces.
Walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans
Snipped Gummies of any kind
Smarties/M&Ms

Drop 1 inch diameter balls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375F for about 13 minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom.

This is a basic Oatmeal Cookie recipe that can be modified in .any way you want. Each time I make these cookies I try a different combination of a couple of the suggested additions.
