1 cup butter
1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 tablespoon water
2 cups flour
1 cup pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 300º

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add vanilla and water.

Continue beating while adding flour and pecans.

Batter will be soft. If necessary, refrigerate one hour or overnight.

Make small balls.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 300º for 20 minutes or until delicately brown.

Roll in confectioner's sugar while hot and after they are cold.
