1 c. softened butter or margarine
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla (vanilla paste is the best)
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 8-12 oz. packages of chocolate chips (white, dark, milk or mix it up!)

Directions:

1. Pre-heat oven to 380ºF.
2. Combine butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla in a bowl until well mixed.
3. Add flour, salt, and baking soda until all combined.
4. Add in chocolate chips.
5. Drop cookie mixture (about 2 tsp. each) 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Bake for 10 minutes.
