Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup softened butter
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract (optional...I never use this but you can try it out)
Food coloring and sprinkles
Melted chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400F.

Whisk flour and salt together.

In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add in egg yolks, vanilla, and almond extract if you're using it. Gradually add in dry ingredients.

Split the dough into three balls, and mix in the food coloring. I left one ball plain and then added green coloring to one and red coloring to the other.

Load the dough into the cookie press. For the plain dough, I used a snowflake design. With the green dough, I used a tree design and a flower/poinsettia design for the red dough.

Press the cookies out onto a ungreased cookie sheet. Add your sprinkles at this time if you are using any. I didn't use any for the snowflake cookies, but I put sprinkles on the tree cookie for ornaments and a star. I also used pearl sprinkles for the center of the poinsettia cookies.

Bake for 6-8 minutes.

I finished off the snowflake cookies by dipping half of them in chocolate, and I also sprinkled some Christmas-y sprinkles on top.
