2 C Flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 C plus 1 Tbsp granulated sugar divided
1 C Applesauce
2 Eggs
1/3 C Canola Oil
3 Tbsp Milk
1 1/2 C Walnut halves
1/4 C Brown Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, Grease and flour two 8 1/2 by 4 1/2 inch loaf pans

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl.

Mix 1 C sugar with applesauce, eggs, oil and milk in a small bowl

Add flour to mixture and mix well

Stir in walnuts

Spoon into pans

Mix brown sugar with remaining 1 Tbsp granulated sugar, sprinkle over top of loaves

Bake about 1 hour

Cover loafs for the final 20 minutes of baking if they begin to get too brown.
