2 eggs
1 c. Sugar
2 c. grated or ground hazelnuts(filberts) (4 1/2 oz.)
2 c. grated or ground almonds (4 1/2 oz.)
1 t. Vanilla
4 T. Flour
Glaze:
1 c. Powdered sugar
1 egg white
4 dozen whole filberts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and sugar for about 10 minutes. (Use a food processor to grate the nuts) Mix in nuts, flour and vanilla. Drop by teaspoon on buttered pan. Combine powdered sugar and egg white for glaze. Make a hole in cookie and drop a bit of glaze in hole and top with whole filbert. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Dough with spread and rise slightly during baking. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
