1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg white, beaten
Sugars, candies, nuts for topping
Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter until soft.
Gradually add sugar until creamy.
Mix baking powder and flour and add to the mixture.
Chill dough.
Roll dough about 1/4 inch thin. Use cookie cutters to make cookies.
Brush with beaten egg white and decorate with sugar.
Bake about 8 minutes at 350 degrees being careful not to burn cookies.
