1/2 C. margarine, softened
3/4 C. Light Brown Sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 T. juice from cherries
1 1/2 C. flour
20 - 25 maraschino cherries, patted dry
20 - 25 milk chocolate chips, plus 1 C. milk chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Cream brown sugar and margarine together. Add vanilla, juice from cherries and flour. Mix well. Chill dough for at least one hour before baking.
Stuff each cherry with a chocolate chip, then wrap in 1 T. of dough. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12 - 15 minutes. Cool.
Melt 1 C. chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over low heat, or in the microwave and dip top of cookies in melted chocolate.
