2 oz. chocolate (2 squares)
1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt chocolate in boiling water.
2. Place rest of ingredients along with chocolate mixture in a bowl.
3. Beat for 2 minutes with electric beater or 3 minutes with rotary beater.
4. Pour batter into greased and floured 11 x 7 pan.
5. Bake at 350º F for 25 to 30 minutes.
6. Ice.
