2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. grated nutmeg (or more to taste)
Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and shortening.
2. Add beaten eggs, then sour cream.
3. Sift together baking soda and flour.
4. Add to sugar mixture, with vanilla and nutmeg.
5. Bake at 425º F for about 10 minutes.
