1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper
1/4 cup sugar
4 tsp. Baking powder
1 quart vegetable oil (for frying)
2 packages good quality hot dogs
Wooden skewers

Preheat oil and insert skewers into hotdogs. Combine dry ingredients in medium bowl. Mix wet ingredients in small bowl. Combine all ingredients. If you put the batter in a mason jar it makes it easier to coat the hotdogs. Fry for a few minutes, until cooked through.
