1 mediu, head young red cabbage cut into 1/4" slices
1/4 c. olive oil
1 white onion sliced thin
1/4 teaspoon each, caraway seed and poppy seed
salt and pepper to taste.
2/3 C packed brown sugar
1/4 C. apple cider vinegar
3 Tbl butter (unsalted)

Directions:
prepare cabbage and onions as directed. Heat a large heavy skillet, add oil then add cabbage and onions and cook until wilted. sprinkle seeds, brown sugar and dot with butter. pour vinegar over all and cook on med low for 30- 40 minutes ontop of stove. Stir 2 -3 times during cooking. Serve as a side dish with any pork cut...zer gute
