Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 bag Kraft caramels
2 jars dry roasted peanuts
4 tbsp. butter
10 oz. bag of marshmallows
4 cups powder sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the marshmallows with the butter in the microwave, stir in powder sugar.

Let the mixture cool and roll into logs - approximately 10

Put them in the freezer until they are hard.

Divide the bag of caramels in half (14) and melt in microwave with 1-4 tbsp. water
Add additional water as the caramels cool off and reheat in microwave if necessary..

I put the caramel in a flat dish that the entire roll can fit into. I use a wooded stick to roll the caramels with.

Roll the logs in the caramel. Completely coat them with caramels and than roll them in the peanuts. The peanuts should be on wax paper.

Let them cool and enjoy!

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
It takes two people to make the recipe. One to roll the rolls in caramel and one to roll the logs in peanuts. I do the caramels and John rolls the peanuts. You might not need two bags of caramels or two jars of peanuts. For some reason John and I always run out when I only use 1 of each.

I have used this recipe for years. In the beginning I would get frustrated and quit. I would throw away the recipe and say I was never making them again. The next year, I would call my mom, get the recipe and try again. I never saw my mom make them but she had a special talent and they always were delicious.

Christmas 2022 were the best I have ever made. I had my neighbor Steve and friend Kathy over to help. They wanted to learn how to make them. We made a mess but they turned out good,.
