3 cups of white sugar
1 cup of evaporated milk. (Not sweetened condensed)
1 - 7 ounce jar of marshmallow creme
1/3 cup of butter
1 - 12 ounce package chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)


Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, evaporated milk, and butter together in a heavy bottom saucepan. Cook until the mixture boils to 234º on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and wait 1 minute. Add chocolate chips, marshmallow creme and vanilla. Stir ingredients until mixture is creamy and smooth. (An electric mixer may be used, but I didn't need to).

Pour in a foil lined 8 x 8 pan that's been sprayed with Pam. Cool, and cut as desired.

You can use any kind of chips you want. Butterscotch, peanut butter, mint, etc. Substitute nuts for candy buts, etc.
