2 sticks margarine or butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour, sifted
2 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine with sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, salt, and baking soda. Add flour mixture and blend well. Roll dough into balls (about the size of a walnut). Roll the balls in a mixture of equal parts sugar and cinnamon. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400º F for 10 minutes.
