Notes: I remember when Grandma brought me some homemade banana nut bread to the VFW the night before we were taking a "fancy" trip together. It was really the first time I got to spend some one on one time with her. I learned so much and felt like I was getting to know the real her for the first time. The funniest thing... I hated banana nut bread... just not a fan of bananas, but hers was AWESOME!!!! Now I love banana nut bread and think of her every time I make it and eat it.
