12 double graham crackers
2 sticks butter
1/2 c sugar
4 oz. sliced almonds (can use 3/4 c. to 1 c. if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Place graham crackers on foil. Sprinkle almonds over graham crackers. Bring butter and sugar to boil in heavy pan and boil for 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over graham crackers and almonds. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool and break into pieces.

Use a cookie sheet that has sides about 1/2 to 3/4 inches high because the sugar-butter mixture can run over the side of a flat sided cookie sheet.
