2 pounds lean stew meat
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 pkg Beef Stew powder mix
Water
4 medium potatoes cut up
1 pound small carrots chopped
1 large onion chopped
1/2 pound frozen corn
2 cups beef bullion mixed
1/4 cup soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in hot oil in 5 quart dutch oven.
Stir in mix, 2 cups hot water and 2 cups beef bullion mix. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally.
Add vegetables. Cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes or until vegetables are tender. For thicker stew, simmer uncovered for additional 10 to 15 minutes.
