2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 tsp baking soda (dissolved in small amount of water)
4 eggs well beaten
2 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp salt
2 cups pumpkin

Frosting:
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 stick margarine, melted
1 (8oz) cream cheese
1 c. nuts
2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar, oil, soda, and eggs. Add remaining ingredients except pumpkin; beat until smooth. Add pumpkin and beat again. Pout batter into cake pan and bake in 350 for 20 minutes.

For frosting: Mix together all ingredients and beat until frosting is desired consistency. Spread on cooled pumpkin cake.
