Bake 1 butter recipe yellow cake mix in an 11x17 jelly roll pan according to box directions. Cool.
Mix 1 small box instant vanilla pudding mix with 1/2 c. milk. Mix vigorously until well blended. Combine mixture with 1 small container of Cool Whip and mix well.

Cut the cake in half evenly. Spread half with Cool Whip mixture and cover with remaining half. chill well.

This is a great, refreshing dessert for summer.
