2 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
1 CUP BUTTER
1 tsp. VANILLA
1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
2 CUPS POWDERED SUGAR

PREHEAT OVEN TO 300º

MELT BUTTER IN HEAVY SAUCE PAN, ADD VANILLA, GRADUALLY STIR IN FLOUR, ADD PECANS AND MIX WELL. REMOVE FROM HEAT, ROLL INTO BALLS, PLACE ON WELL GREASED COOKIE SHEET. BAKE 45 MINUTES, REMOVE FROM OVEN AND IMMDIATELY ROLL IN POWDERED SUGAR.
