1/2 c water 1/4 orange
1 c sugar 1 c chopped dates
1/2 lb. fresh cranberries 1/2 chopped walnuts
1 recipe of pastry

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar & water in saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring constantly, boil 5 min. stirring frequently. Add cranberries, grated orange rind and chopped orange pulp. Cook over medium heat until cranberries stop popping. Remove from heat and chill. Prepare pastry line med size tart trio. Combine dates & nuts with cranberry sauce. Fill tart shells 1/2 full. Arrange twisted strips of pastry across tarts lattice fashion. Bake in hot oven 425ºF 20-25 or until nicely browned. Serve plain or with whipped cream.
