1/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
5 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup applesauce
Directions:
Directions:
cream butter and sugar
add beaten eggs
mix well
add spices
add mixed dry ingredients: flour, powder, soda, and salt
add applesauce
chill at leas 1hour
roll out 1/3 of dough at a time
turn only once
fry at 375º approx 3 minutes each donut
