1 link smoked sausage
1 medium head of cabbage
1 medium onion
1 large red apple
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage in large skillet in water turning once until done.
Remove from pan and cut into rounds. In skillet, saute the onions, and then add the sausage back in as well as the chopped cabbage. Salt and Pepper and stir to mix, then cover. Cook on med for about 15 minutes. Place apple wedges around the edges of pan and cover for about another 15 minutes until cabbage is done and apples are tender.
Serve with cornbread.
