½ c shortening
¼ c sugar
¾ c honey
1 egg beaten
2 c flour
1 tsp soda
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp cloves
½ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup applesauce
1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar, beat in honey. Add egg. Stir in dry ingredients alternately with applesauce. Add raisins and nuts.
Pour in loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 50 minutes.
