2 c. sifted flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 c. chopped apple and/or rhubarb

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix flour and sugar together.
2. Cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives until a coarse crumb is formed.
3. Mix about 1/4 of the crumbs with the chopped fruit.
4. Spread into all greased deep baking dish.
5. Cover with the remaining crumbs and spread evenly.
6. Bake at 350º F for 30-40 minutes or until the surface is a golden brown.
7. Serve hot or cold with ice cream.
