4 oz. cream cheese (room temperature softened)
1 T. orange juice (or a bit more)
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
6 canned pear halves
1/2 c. almonds, slivered and toasted
salad greens

Directions:
Directions:
1. Blend together cream cheese, orange juice and ginger.
2. Drain pear halves and pat dry.
3. Spread cream cheese mix on rounded side of pear halves.
4. Stud with slivered almonds.
5. Arrange on salad greens.

“You may serve with mayonnaise or sour cream dressing, but I like it as is, if you put the cream cheese on at least 1/4” thick.”
